Flower Festival
In July 2008 we held a Flower Festival in the church. All the set peices were themed on Musicals and the result was quite something. The church looked terrific and with music from the featured musicals playing gently in the background, the atmosphere was wonderful.
The final total was over £900.00 split equally between St Johns and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Our heartfelt thanks to the organiser and arrangers and everyone who gave their time, expertise and sponsorship to make the whole event such a success, and to the many visitors who made all the hard work worthwhile.
